ADVERTS

A song that inspired me for what i'm planning is in 'gone girl' trailer. This is because despite the fear that is going on visually, auditory it's happy, which shows the contras which is hard to do in a thriller as there usually extremely dark. Thus, i think its very clever and gives me the idea to put an upbeat song in my opening.

A Tv series that inspires me is hostages. This is because Hostages is about a kidnapping but not a typical kidnapping. It isn't a kid being kidnapped for money from there rich father or anything along those lines. Instead its about kidnappers that want a doctor to kill the president because the kidnappers wife is about to die and needs blood from the president as he's the only one that can keep her alive. So the kidnapper and his helpers kidnapp the doctors family to make sure she does it. I love this series as when i first watched it, it wasn't predictable at all which makes it more exciting. This series will help me improve my story line when i come to finalising it, as it will help me think outside the box, so my opening isn't typical and hopefully wouldn't of been done before.

The music video by MGMT for the song 'kids'

inspires me for my music video as its a comical thriller as its so unrealistic. Within the unrealism of the music video theres also sense and truth to it as it stereotypes every baby's fear, meaning the video is relatable and therefore more enjoyable to watch.
